Introduction to Prague
For starters, our hotel the Green Lobster, is in the best location ever. The number one tourist attraction, Prague Castle, is just around the corner from our hotel. Prague is such an amazing place, where Delmer says,"You can't take a bad photo". We toured around the immediate area today, travelling down the hill for lunch near the famous Charles Bridge and visiting St. Nickolaus church. It was 30 degrees plus today so we took a break in the late afternoon. We met up again at 5:30 p.m. to attend a classical music concert at St. Georges Basillica which is located inside the castle walls. The music and singing in the 300 year-old church was spell-bounding. We finished our day with leisurely supper on an outside terence restaurant overlooking the city. We feasted on roast duck, porkchops, goulash, cabbages and dumplings and drinking a bottle of tasty Czech red wine... all so good. Tomorrow is another day of site-seeing is this very historical city. The last photo is of our hotel. It's the one with the tallest peak.
